How can I make water flow through a solar panel in a laboratory experiment?
Hi, if I were to do a laboratory experiment on how to find the energy conversion rate for a solar panel (an array of pipes), how can I make cold water (from a beaker at one end) flow through the panel? Then make hot water on the other end?

Gravity.
Since you are not going to be able to heat the water to a boil, use a funnel and a stopcock valve on the top.
You probably won’t get a true reading unless you have enough water to completely fill the system, so you’ll also need a stopcock on the bottom.
Measure your change in temperature of the H20 over, say, 5 minutes. (Fill system, wait 5 minutes, drain system and measure temp in outlet flow.)
And, if possible, use copper – better heat absorption.
The fan works under direct sunshine only. And it’s so weak that you can’t feel anything. I think the CFM is about only 1 or 2. You can’t use it to draw hot air out of even just a 3 x 4 restroom.
Works only in bright direct sunlight. You barely feel just a little air when it runs. Not worth the cost.
This product was terrible!!! It will not run in even the slightest shaded light and must be placed in unobstructed sunlight. There is no on or off switch and there is no battery for the solar cell to charge to use it in evening hours or dusk conditions. The only time it will come on is when you place it in the middle of the yard with nothing remotely around it!
When running the fan is not sufficient to cool anything. So, I can’t really imagine any time this product would be useful for anything. It did not meet my expectations and was in my opinion an overpriced piece of junk.
Granted, these things aren’t going to cool a room, but if you need just a little free breeze — like I do in my little greenhouse — these things are ideal.
The fan blade hardly spins. Basically a piece of junk. Should be removed from being sold.
